PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress unnecessary consumption of electric power and jamming by making a reconnection with a sheet processing apparatus suitable to a job to be processed and carrying out sheet processing.SOLUTION: There is provided a printing system that connects one or more sheet processing devices which performs sheet processing to a printing device and performs printing processing, and the printing system includes: reception means of receiving jobs using the sheet processing devices; holding means of holding the received jobs; execution means of sequentially executing the jobs held by the holding means; specifying means of specifying a sheet processing device to be used by a following job to be executed after a job being executed by the execution means; and notification means of giving notice of change from the sheet processing device connected to the printing device to the sheet processing device specified by the specifying means before the execution means executes the following job.
