PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter with a multilayer unit having a plurality of coolers and a plurality of semiconductor cards alternately stacked, which compactly supports a large load applied to the multilayer unit.SOLUTION: The power converter disclosed in this specification includes a multilayer unit 10, a case 3 housing the multilayer unit, and a leaf spring 6. The leaf spring 6 is in contact with one end face of the multilayer unit 10 in the stacking direction in the case, and applies a load to the multilayer unit 10 in the stacking direction. A rib 4 is provided for each of a pair of parallel inner side surfaces of the case. The rib 4 is provided for each of the pair of side surfaces in a projecting manner. In the compressed state, the leaf spring 6 has one surface with both ends thereof supported by the pair of ribs 4 respectively and has the other surface with its center pressing the end face of the multilayer unit 10. The rib 4 has a larger thickness in the stacking direction in the area where the side surface of the case is in contact than in the stacking direction in the area where an elastic member is in contact. |
