PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element molding equipment and a molding method enabled to produce an optical element in a high production yield by making it reluctant to receive the influence of the temperature distribution of a plate. ! SOLUTION: In an optical element molding equipment, a molding tool 50, in which an optical material is placed between upper die and a lower die, is sequentially transferred to heating, pressing and cooling stages 3, 4 and 5 thereby to mold an optical element.
