PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner that reduces the amount of bow adjustment performed to optical components after the installation to the optical scanner. ! SOLUTION: An optical scanner includes deflection means for deflecting a plurality of rays of light made incident on a reflection surface from a light source in the main scanning direction by moving the reflection surface, and a plurality of optical components that are bowed in the sub scanning direction in an unloaded condition so that each of the plurality of rays of light having reflected on the reflection surface is reflected thereon or transmitted therethrough and each of the plurality of rays of light is scanned in the main scanning direction. !
