Addressed are an apparatus and method for recycling by-products of a smelting process, wherein the apparatus comprises: a leaching tank for leaching reduced ore; an oxidation tank disposed sequentially after the leaching tank and oxidizing ferrous iron oxide produced in the leaching unit; a supplying pump for supplying a ferric iron compound obtained through oxidation of a ferrous iron oxide compound in the oxidation tank; and a supplying pipe connecting the supplying pump to the leaching tank.
