PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bonded member that improves bonding strength in bonding to one member by thermal caulking.SOLUTION: A detection part-supporting member 62 supporting a rotation angle detection part of an accelerator device is bonded to a housing 12, fixed to a vehicle, by thermal caulking. The detection part-supporting member 62 before being deformed by the thermal caulking includes a base part 634 into which a hall element and the like are inserted and a cylindrical part 635 formed so as to extend from an edge of an insertion hole 631 of the base part 634. When a projecting part 111 of the housing 12 is inserted through the insertion hole 631 and an end part 119 of the projecting part 111 and an end part 639 of the cylindrical part 635 are molten by a thermal caulking tool, the end part 119 of the projecting part 111 is deformed in a direction separated from a central axis &phgr;2 of the cylindrical part 635 to be bonded to the end part 639 of the cylindrical part 635 deformed toward the central axis &phgr;2 of the cylindrical part 635. Consequently, the detection part-supporting member 62 and the housing 12 can be surely bonded to each other. |
