<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appearance inspection apparatus of a transparent bottle, which can be applied to bottles of various sorts and is capable of highly accurately determining existence of a defect existing on the bottom of a bottle. <P>SOLUTION: The appearance inspection apparatus includes: a first light source part 3 capable of applying diffusion light of a first frequency to a bottom outer surface 102 of a transparent bottle having an aperture 103; a second light source part 4 capable of applying parallel light of a second frequency to the bottom outer surface 102 of the transparent bottle; an area camera 2 arranged adjacently to the aperture 103 of the transparent bottle and capable of discriminating light beams applied from the first light source part 3 and the second light source part 4 and imaging the inner surface of the bottom through the aperture 103; and a defect determination part 6 for determining whether or not a defect exists in the bottom of the transparent bottle based on a first image picked up by the area camera 2 by the light from the first light source part 3 and a second image formed by the light from the second light source part 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
