According to an embodiment, a method to manufacture a cold-worked high strength coil spring prepares a steel material wherein aluminum is not applied as a deoxidizer. High-frequency heat treatment, quenching, and tempering heat treatment is proceeded with the steel material. The steel material with quenching and tempering heat treatment is formed with a coil spring. The coil spring is treated with annealing heat treatment and hot setting treatment. The coil spring treated with annealing heat treatment and hot-setting treatment is treated with hot shot peening. The coil spring treated with hot shot peening is treated with stress shot peening. |
