<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio apparatus that sets an input impedance and a gain matching a source apparatus connected to an input terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The audio apparatus includes: the input terminal having a hot terminal and a cold terminal and connectable with a source apparatus; an impedance element; a capacitor; a test signal generation section; a return signal analysis section; and a selector switch for connecting the impedance element in parallel to the input terminal in a normal operation, and connecting the test signal generation section to the cold terminal and connecting the capacitor and the return signal analysis section to the hot terminal at impedance detection of the source apparatus. At the impedance detection of the source apparatus, the test signal generation section generates a test signal, and the return signal analysis section detects an impedance of the source apparatus according to a return signal, which is the test signal returned to the hot terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
