<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching type two-stage supercharger turbo system capable of reducing processing man-hours and the number of components and improving productivity and reliability and reducing its cost and applicable to an existing exhaust manifold. <P>SOLUTION: In the switching type two-stage supercharger turbo system S where a high pressure stage supercharger T1 and a low pressure stage supercharger T2 are connected with an internal combustion engine 1, respectively, a single exhaust port 16 is formed at the exhaust manifold 3 of the internal combustion engine 1, and an exhaust bypass passage 12 having an inlet 12a and outlet 12b for exhaust bypass adjacent to an inlet 10a and an outlet 10b of a turbine 10 of the high pressure stage supercharger T1 is integrally arranged on the turbine 10. An end having the inlet 10a of the turbine 10 and the inlet 12a of the exhaust bypass passage 12 and the single exhaust port 16 can be connected with each other, and a selector valve 14 for opening and closing the outlet 12b of the exhaust bypass passage 12 is arranged on the exhaust bypass passage 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
