<p>The present invention relates to a digital broadcast receiving method. The embodiment of the present invention provides the digital broadcast receiving method which includes the steps of: demultiplexing a transport stream into an auxiliary stream including a video stream, an event information table (EIT) and a program map table (PMT); decoding video data; and decoding caption data. The EIT or PMT includes a caption descriptor which includes caption information. The caption descriptor includes the caption information which shows whether caption data included in the video data is caption data to provide a digital closed caption service according to an electronic industry association (EIA)-708 or caption data to provide an analog closed caption service.</p> |
