<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in communication quality caused by delay of a packet. <P>SOLUTION: A first communication device receives and stores a first packet in a network including a transmission device and first and second communication devices. The first communication device transfers the first packet to the second communication device. The first communication device calculates storage time which is a time interval between time of storing the first packet and time of starting processing of data included in the first packet. The first communication device compares retransmission time required for retransmitting the first packet to the second communication device with the storage time. The first communication device instructs the second communication device to receive a second packet transmitted after the first packet by the transmission device, without using the first communication device, when the storage time is shorter than the retransmission time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
