<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sensor capable of accurately detecting relative position information of an object in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: The optical sensor comprises: a light source 11 that includes a surface-emitting laser array; a non-parallel transparent member 12; a collimator lens 13; an objective lens 14; and a processing unit. A plurality of beams emitted from a plurality of light-emitting parts of the surface-emitting laser array are individually condensed at different positions in a Z-axis direction. The processing unit applies a constant voltage to the light-emitting parts of the surface-emitting laser array and outputs a self-mixing signal for each light-emitting part to a printer control device. The printer control device determines a distance to recording paper in the Z-axis direction on the basis of the self-mixing signal for each light-emitting part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
