<p>The present invention can perform an enthalpy control operation and a duty cycle operation according to indoor and outdoor environments by considering air quality, enthalpy energy due to the introduction of outdoor air, and power saving energy due to the duty cycle operation; thereby improving indoor air quality and maximizing an energy saving effect. Also, the present invention can prevent the degradation of indoor comfort due to the duty cycle operation by detecting the indoor air quality during the duty cycle operation to determine the duration of the duty cycle operation. Also, the present invention can improve an energy saving effect by selectively operating an enthalpy control mode and a duty cycle operation mode while comparing the enthalpy energy and the power saving energy even during the duty cycle operation. A method to control an HVAC system of a building using air quality control, enthalpy control, and duty cycle control comprises: a step of measuring an indoor temperature, an indoor humidity, an outdoor temperature, an outdoor humidity, and an indoor air quality; a step of comparing the indoor air quality and a preset air quality; a step of determining one among the enthalpy control mode and the duty cycle operation mode when the indoor air quality is the set air quality or lower; a step of calculating an indoor air enthalpy, an outdoor air enthalpy, and an enthalpy energy which is a difference between the indoor and outdoor air enthalpies if the enthalpy control mode is set or the duty cycle operation mode is set and the present time is the preset duty cycle operation time; and a step of selectively performing one among the enthalpy control mode and the duty cycle operation mode by comparing the enthalpy energy and the power saving energy saved in the duty cycle operation mode.</p> |
