The present invention provides an apparatus and a method for controlling automatic driving of a vehicle based on sensor fusion, which controls automatic driving of a vehicle on the basis of fusing information obtained from various sensors mounted on a vehicle to grasp a position of a self-vehicle and the other vehicle. According to the present invention, the apparatus for controlling automatic driving of a vehicle comprises: an automatic driving determination unit whether automatic driving control of a vehicle is possible; a self-vehicle position generating unit generating position information of a vehicle when determining that automatic driving control of a vehicle is possible; a target position generating unit combining target information obtained from each sensor mounted on a vehicle to generate position information of a target; and an automatic driving control unit controlling automatic driving of a vehicle based on the position information of the vehicle and the target. |
