A bogie air dam is used for a high speed train which comprises: a vehicle body; a connecting part disposed on an end part of the vehicle to connect between vehicle bodies; and a bogie part disposed on a lower part of the vehicle body to enable the vehicle body to travel on a rail. The bogie air dam comprises: a front surface which is in the opposite to the bogie part, and has a same width with the bogie part; a bottom surface extended from a lower part of the front surface, extended in parallel with a direction of travel of the high speed train, and has a same height as a lower part of the vehicle body and a same width as the bogie part; and a rear surface extended from an end part of the bottom surface, is in opposite to the front surface and has the same width as the bogie part. The bogie air dam is disposed between the bogie part and an end of the vehicle body to guide air which has passed the bogie part toward a lower part of the vehicle body. Accordingly air resistance of the high speed train is reduced. |
