METAL-AIR BATTERY HAVING FOLDED STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME

Disclosed is a metal-air battery with a folded structure, capable of easily supplying air and improving energy density. According to the disclosed metal-air battery, a cathode metal layer, a cathode electrolytic film, and an anode layer are bent on a gas diffusion layer to touch the anode layer with the upper surface of the gas diffusion layer. Therefore, the number of cells is increased by repetitively folding a cathode metal, a cathode electrolyte, and an anode in zigzag. Even though the number of the cells is increased, oxygen is easily supplied by always opening a pat of the gas diffusion layer to the outside.
