The device (D) has an interface unit (MI) that is arranged to define a scenario for operation of an equipment (E1) e.g. smart phone, or to select the operation scenario of the equipment among a set of scenarios. The selected scenario is associated at a zone of the vehicle (V) and/or a user. A transmission of the scenario and a set of parameters selected with a control unit (MCT) is started such that the equipment is able to be controlled as a function of the scenario and the selected parameters. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a vehicle system (2) a communication equipment.
