A crimping terminal (10) crimps the core wire (1) of an electrical wire (W) while wrapping around the core wire (1) from the outside, the core wire (1) consisting of element wires (1a), and the crimping terminal (10) is provided with a core wire crimping section (16) provided with serrations (18) formed on the surface where the core wire (1) is disposed and extending in the direction (C2) perpendicular to the axial direction of the core wire (1). The serrations (18) comprise center serration sections (18a) and end serration sections (18b), the center and end serration sections (18a, 18b) having a protruding cross-sectional shape and being arranged on surfaces facing each other when the core wire crimping section (16) is crimped to the core wire (1). The center serration sections (18a) and the end serration sections (18b) are respectively provided at positions offset from each other in the axial direction (C1) of the core wire. |
