The present invention relates to a backlight unit that can be used for display or lighting purposes, a double cone-shaped reflector, a double cone-shaped reflector strip, and a method for manufacturing a double cone-shaped reflector, and the double cone-shaped reflector may comprise: a light-guiding plate which has at least one through-hole formed therein and which is made of a light-transmissive material; a light-emitting device installed in the through-hole of the light-guiding plate; and an inverse cone-shaped reflector inserted and installed in the through-hole of the light-guiding plate so as to induce light, which has been generated from the light-emitting device, towards the light-guiding plate, the inverse cone-shaped reflector being formed to have a flat upper portion and a sharp cone-shaped lower portion.
