The present invention relates to a wireless power transmitter and a method for controlling the same. The wireless power transmitter available of wireless power transmission and reception comprises a coil part wirelessly transmitting power, wherein the coil part includes: a control part in any one method among a first method and a second method; a first coil formed to convert a current with a magnetic flux; a second coil arranged on a plane to be adjacent to the first coil; and a third coil formed in a form different from that of the first and second coils, and having at least one overlap on the first and second coils. The control part is characterized by transmitting power in any one method among the first and second methods by using at least one coil among the first, second, and third coils. |
