PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which, even when a defective bit is generated accidentally in data within the imaging device while imaging, identifies the defective bit in the data and corrects an error.SOLUTION: The imaging device comprising a pixel part with plural pixels arranged in a matrix, an AD converter which is provided at each column to perform AD conversion of a pixel signal outputted from the pixel part and output digital data corresponding to the pixel signal, and a memory provided at each column is provided with a redundant data generation part for generating redundant data based on a generation rule of an error correction code, with respect to the digital data. The digital data outputted from the AD converter and the redundant data are stored in the memory. |
