<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-luminance video signal by cancelling light-time FPN from a video signal.SOLUTION: During dark-time FPN acquisition processing, a frame memory circuit 21 performs addition averaging upon signal values of video signals in light shielding and stores the signal value for each pixel. During light-time FPN acquisition processing, a frame memory circuit 24 performs addition averaging on results subtracting the signal values in light shielding from video signals of uniform light and stores a result for each pixel as a signal value of the uniform light, and a control part performs addition averaging upon the stored signal values of the uniform light over an entire image and stores a signal value of a signal level sin a memory 25. During FPN cancellation processing, a multiplier 27 multiplies a result of subtracting the signal value in light shielding from a signal value of the video signal in an input video image and a result of dividing the signal value of the signal level swith the signal value of the uniform light. Thus, a true signal value (s) can be obtained by cancelling both dark-time FPN and light-time from the video signal, and light-time FPN depending on the signal level of the video signal can be cancelled from the video signal.</p> |
