PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for manufacturing a metal powder sintered body, capable of reducing an initial investment and an operating cost.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a metal powder sintered body comprises: supplying a sheet material 2 processed in a metal foil shape by connecting metal powder with an adhesive on a heater base 1 including a plurality of dot heaters; heating an arbitrary dot heater while pressing the sheet material 2 on the surface of the heater base 1 to form a sintered layer at an arbitrary position in the sheet material surface; and repeating lamination and sintering layer-by-layer while continuously supplying the metal foil sheet material on the formed sintered layer.
