PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain focal detection accuracy and shorten focusing time.SOLUTION: A lens device detachably attached to an imaging device, includes: a photographic optical system forming an optical image of an object; and lens control means transmitting compatibility/incompatibility information indicating whether the photographic optical system is compatible with focal detection for detecting a phase difference between image signals of a pair of object images, and a misalignment amount of a focused position resulting from the photographic optical system in the focal detection or correction information for correcting the misalignment amount to the imaging device.
