PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film for molding which achieves both adhesiveness with a molding transfer foil releasing layer and smoothness of a molding transfer surface and has higher appearance quality and excellent moldability.SOLUTION: There is provided a film for molding composed mainly of a cyclic olefin-based resin which is non-oriented and satisfies the following (1) and (2). (1) One surface (A surface) of the film has a surface roughness SRmax of 500 nm or more and 1500 nm or less and another surface (B surface) has a surface roughness SRmax of 500 nm or more and 10000 nm or less. (2) The A surface has a surface free energy of 45 mN/m or more and less than 80 mN/m.
