<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent migration to sleep state which stops electric power supplied to processing means in accordance with the type of a job to be executed, when an operator is detected near an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus which performs power-saving control for each processing means is controlled so as not to enter sleep mode, which stops electric power supplied to processing means in accordance with the type of a job received, during a period in which detection means detects a human body operating the job in an area near the image forming apparatus, when the received job is processed.</p> |
