A subject of the present invention is providing a light irradiation apparatus controlling adhesion of foreign materials to the surface of emitting side of a member installed on a light emission opening part. The light irradiation apparatus (1) stores a light source (4) and a reflector (5) in a housing (3) of a light irradiator (2), includes a light transmissive member on a light emission opening part (3A) of the housing (3), and includes an air curtain tool (60) on the light emitting side of the member, thereby preventing foreign materials from adhering to the member installed on the light emission opening part (3A).
