The present invention relates to a non-contact power supply apparatus changing a signal level of a short beacon or a long beacon, and to a non-contact power supply method. The non-contact power supply apparatus recognizing a power receiving device by transmitting a short beacon, and transmitting charging power in a non-contact method after waking up a communication circuit of the power receiving device by transmitting a long beacon comprises: a power transmission unit controlling the transmission of the charging power, the short beacon, and the long beacon; a power transmission coil transmitting the short beacon, the long beacon, and the charging power in the non-contact method in accordance with transmission control of the power transmission unit; and a control unit variably controlling one signal level of a signal level of the short beacon and a signal level of the long beacon.
