PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique by which a storage device can be simultaneously used by both a device connected via a serial interface and a device connected via a radio LAN interface by a simpler method.SOLUTION: A storage device includes: a serial interface to which a first host device is connected; a conversion unit that performs conversion between a communication protocol used by the serial interface and a communication protocol used by a network, so as to perform communication with the first host device by the network through the serial interface; a radio LAN interface to which a second host device is connected through radio and which performs communication with the second host device by the network; a storage unit that stores a file; and a control unit that controls the sharing of the file via the network for the first host device and second host device.
