Disclosed is a Mo-Si-P-based anode active material with an improved charge and discharge cycle characteristics. Provided is an active material for a Mo-P-based lithium ion battery, wherein the active material is made of a Mo-Si-P ternary compound and includes a first phase where Si is employed based on an MoP2 crystal structure. According to the present invention, provided is an anode active material of the Mo-Si-P-based lithium ion battery, which improves cycle characteristics by suppressing a volume expansion of a Mo-P-based material, and has a low operating voltage. |
