<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance welding apparatus which is capable of spot welding by disposing a chip for spot welding on a rotary electrode fixed to a pair of electrode holders.SOLUTION: A resistance welding apparatus 10 includes: first and second electrode holders 16 and 17 being a pair disposed on first and second support mechanisms 14 and 15; first and second rotary electrodes 18 and 19 that are detachably mounted on the first and second electrode holders 16 and 17 respectively; first and second rotation drive means 22 and 23 that rotatably drive the first and second electrode holders 16 and 17 respectively; pressurizing means 25 that relatively moves the first and second support mechanisms 14 and 15 to conduct approaching movement and pressurization, and separating movement of the first and second rotary electrodes 18 and 19 being a pair; and electric power supply means 26 that supplies electric power to the first and second rotary electrodes 18 and 19. In the resistance welding apparatus 10, first and second chips 71 and 72 for spot welding are provided that are capable of spot welding, on the first and second rotary electrodes 18 and 19.</p> |
