摘要 The invention relates to a ceramic material which is produced by mixing from aluminium oxide Al2O3, zirconium dioxide ZrO2, yttrium oxide Y2O3, cerium oxide CeO2, lanthanum oxide La2O3 and praseodymium oxide Pr6O11 and then sintering, where the finished material after sintering comprises a proportion of from 55 to 90 % by volume of an aluminium oxide matrix and a proportion of from 10 to 45 % by volume of the zirconium dioxide, where at least 75 % of the zirconium dioxide in the finished material is present in its tetragonal form with chemical stabilization by a mixture of yttrium oxide and cerium oxide. Improved properties are achieved if a proportion of from 10 to 75 % by volume of the aluminium oxide matrix is present in the form of hexagonal platelets of the composition LaAl11018 and the proportion of praseodymium oxide added in an alloy is from 0.1 to 1.0 % by volume in relation to the entire mixture, where the sintering process forms, in the finished material, a mixed crystal with aluminium oxide, lanthanum aluminate and/or zirconium oxide.
