PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator, a lithium battery including the same, a method of manufacturing the separator, and a method of manufacturing the lithium battery.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a separator which includes an organic/inorganic compound coating layer on at least one surface of a porous base material and a pattern coating layer on the surface of the organic/inorganic compound coating layer. The coating pattern layer has an average diameter of 0.1 mm or less and includes a pattern composed of a plurality of coating regions regularly separated from each other and arranged. A lithium battery including the separator, a method of manufacturing the separator, and a method of manufacturing the lithium battery are provided.
