PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of increasing the reusability of software when a storage region to be accessed by software is changed without using hardware such as a memory management unit.SOLUTION: The vehicle control device includes: a plurality of pieces of software in which different safety degrees are set; and a switching part for switching a safety degree correspondence storage region divided into a plurality of portions correspondingly to the safety degrees of the plurality of pieces of software for storing data to be calculated by the software, a common storage region for storing the data calculated by the software whose safety degree is high for access of the software whose safety degree is low and an access destination storage region in the case of referring to the same data in accordance with the safety degree of the software. The plurality of pieces of software includes a function for calling the switching part for referring to the same data.
