PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel pharmaceuticals for hypertensive vascular diseases.SOLUTION: The present invention provides novel dual-acting compounds and pharmaceutical combinations of angiotensin receptor antagonists and neutral endopeptidase inhibitors. More specifically, a dual-acting compound, such as a supramolecular complex, comprises: (a) an angiotensin receptor antagonist; (b) a neutral endopeptidase inhibitor (NEPi); and optionally (c) a pharmaceutically acceptable cation. A specific pharmaceutical combination, linked pro-drug or compound of an angiotensin receptor antagonist and a NEPi is used in treatment of hypertension.
