<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an iron-based powder for powder metallurgy excellent in extraction property. <P>SOLUTION: With the method for manufacturing an iron-based powder for powder metallurgy, an iron-based powder for powder metallurgy containing iron powder 1, a binder 2, an alloy component 3, a polymer 5 which is a polyacrylonitrile-based polymer whose weight average molecular weight is 800,000 or less and/or a poly (meth)acrylic acid ester-based polymer whose weight average molecular weight is 1.5 million or less, and a lubricant 4 is obtained. The method includes: a step in which the iron powder 1, the binder 2, and the alloy component 3 are heated and mixed; a step in which, in the step of cooling a mixture acquired by heating and mixing, an emulsion containing the polymer 5 is added to the mixture; and a step in which the lubricant 4 is added to the mixture to which the emulsion has been added. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
