<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel low-density lipoprotein antioxidant which is available from waste after primary utilization, has a strong low-density lipoprotein anti-oxidant action, has a good flavor, is easily ingestible successively and applicable to various dosage forms, especially when soluble in water, and can be stably supplied all year round, and also to provide a food and drink using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The low-density lipoprotein antioxidant contains a chestnut skin extract.
