<p>The method involves producing or providing a product stream containing particles. Measurement data are generated by optically detecting a part of the particles using two different optical measurement procedures. Properties e.g. size distribution, shape, shape factor, color, color content and/or speed, of the part of the particles are determined based on the measurement data, where the optical measurement procedures contain detection of a deflection pattern of the part of the particles. A sample containing the particles is extracted from the product stream. An independent claim is also included for a device for determining size distribution of particles.</p> |
