Class 6(3), A harvesting machine comprising a cutter 3, 4, a helical conveyer 5 feeding cut crop to a conveyer drum 8 which passes it to a thrashing drum 9 and concave, is characterized in that the helical conveyer and the cutter are driven from a pulley 12 fixed to the shaft of the conveyer drum, through a belt. The conveyer drum is driven by a belt 27. The pulley 14 which drives the cutter has secured to it a shaft 17 having a cylindrical part 29 whose axis makes an angle with the axis of rotation of the shaft and on which is journalled a lever 20 which thus oscillates as the shaft 17 is turned whereby the cutter is reciprocated. |
