Method and device for creating a VPN connection between two networks

The method involves transmitting a virtual private network (VPN) data package from a communication device (2) to a transmission device (11). Another communication device (7) to the transmission device is identified by an identifying unit. Another VPN data package is transmitted from the latter communicating device to the transmission device. VPN configuration parameters (12, 13) are provided to create a VPN connection between the communication devices for the respective communication devices by the transmission device. An independent claim is also included for a transmission device for implementing a method for creating a VPN connection between two networks.
