The machine has a control module (70) moved to a standby state for permitting fabrication of containers and to a utilization state for facilitating changing of a mold of a molding unit. An activating device (78) selectively activates a control unit of an opening/closing device of the molding unit. The device is moved to rest and work positions when the module is in standby and utilization states, respectively. The device cooperates with the control unit under the action of a displacement unit between the module and the machine, in the work position. A chassis (80) supports the device.
