According to the present invention, a polyetherester elastomer preparation method includes the steps of: initiating an esterification reaction between ethylene glycol and butylene glycol which are the raw material for a hard segment by using dimethyl terephthalate and dimethyl isophthalate as catalysts; and adding polyethylene glycol which is a raw material for a soft segment with a polymerization catalyst, thermal stabilizer, and light stabilizer to the product of the esterification reaction to initiate a polycondensation process. In the esterification reaction step, 1 to 50 wt% of ethylene glycol is added to the total amount of low molecular weight diol components. 1 to 30 molar% of dimethyl isophthalate is added to the total amount of dicarboxylic acid components. In the polycondensation step, the polyethylene glycol is injected to a vacuum polycondensation reactor. More specifically, the polyethylene glycol forming the soft segment can be injected into the reactor by using a specially designed device to implement the present invention when the polymerization reactor is in a high vacuum state, specifically, at the reduced pressure of 1 mmHg, as well as when the pressure level of the polymerization reactor is below that of the atmospheric pressure in the initial stage of the reaction. |
