<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle airbag apparatus provided with a steering airbag, configured to reliably restrain a driver in a shock-absorbing manner even if a steering wheel is displaced in a vehicle width direction or the angle thereof is changed during a collision. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle includes: a vehicle-body rigid member extended in a vehicle width direction and formed in a front part of a cabin 3; a steering wheel 9 supported by the vehicle-body rigid member; and a steering airbag 19 that develops from the steering wheel 9 when collision sensor 30-33 etc. detect a frontal collision. The vehicle includes an auxiliary airbag 57 to be developed in a space forward of the driver D when the collision occurs in a portion in the front part of a vehicle body.
