<p>A support beam 12, which might be that of a conveyor, has a hollow interior (54,fig.1) an access aperture 14, a removable cover plate 16, and a cover plate removal means 62,60 which cooperates with the cover plate 16 at a point spaced apart from its edge. This may comprise an aperture (56,fig.1) spaced from the edge of the cover plate 16, into which an elongated tool 62, 60 may be placed. By engaging an internal surface 64, of the rear wall of the beam 12 under leverage or screw pressure, or by screwing into a thread within the aperture (56,fig.1) the tool 62,60 may engage with the cover plate 16 in a manner to permit and cause its removal from the beam 12.</p> |
