<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reductase having excellent thermostability in order to shorten the reaction time and to improve reaction efficiency in a reduction reaction with an industrial useful reductase so as to produce an optically active compound, an intermediate thereof, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The reductase includes the same amino acid sequence as an amino acid sequence composed of a specific sequence except that the reductase has one or more amino acid mutations containing an amino acid mutation in which 42 histidine is replaced with leucine in the amino acid sequence composed of the specific sequence (with the proviso that no amino acid mutations of an amino acid mutation in which 56 glycine is replaced with cysteine, an amino acid mutation in which 115 valine is replaced with isoleucine and an amino acid mutation in which 27 tryptophan is replaced with arginine are contained) and has capability of reducing a substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
