<p>The present invention relates to geopolymer materials curable within 24 hours at a temperature of at least 40°C comprising an alkaline activator having a molarity of 1.0 to 10 M and an additive selected from sugars and derivatives thereof and/or organic acids and salts thereof having a molarity of 0.001 to 0.2 M. The geopolymer compositions of the present invention have sufficient strength to be used for construction purposes. The present invention further relates to a method for manufacturing a geopolymer product comprising the geopolymer materials of the present invention and to geopolymer products obtained by the method of the present invention.</p> |
