The present invention provides a multi-threaded processing device employing sequential execution and a method thereof. The method includes the steps of: scheduling one of multiple thread groups allocated by a task distributor; generating a thread group descriptor for the scheduled thread group and initializing the thread group based on a decision regarding the thread group initialization; and sequentially initializing the thread descriptor and executing a thread processing operation for each thread in the scheduled thread group.
