A NOVEL LACTOBACILLUS FERMENTUM SJ8256 AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to a microbial agent including novel LactobacillusfermentumSJ8256 (Accession No: KCTC 12516BP) strains, the culture of the same, or a mixture thereof as an active ingredient to control pathogenic livestock bacteria. More specifically, the Lactobacillus strains shows a strong antibacterial effect against the pathogenic bacteria resistant to various drugs when the Lactobacillus strains isolated from the nature are cultured after being mixed with Salmonella (Salmonellasp.) and Escherichia coli (E. coli) resistant to various drugs. The present invention can increase the effectiveness of the antibacterial activity compared to various antibiotics currently available on the market. Accordingly, the LactobacillusfermentumSJ8256 strains, the culture of the same, and the mixture thereof can be used as the active ingredients of the microbial agent to control the pathogenic livestock bacteria.
