The present invention relates to a method of measuring the opacity of plume by analyzing the image of plume with a background included shot by an optical device, which is provided to create a more accurate and objective opacity measuring method than the conventional method to measure the opacity of a plume visually, by comprising the steps of: setting the background direction according to the direction of the plume; selecting the color of the plume; setting an analysis position that will be determined in the background contrasting with the analysis position determined for the plume; setting the analysis scope of the plume and background; importing the first image and setting the standard line; and importing images consecutively, determining the analysis scope of each of the plumes and background with the standard line as the coordinate, extracting pixel data within the analysis scope, and calculating the opacity of the plume. |
